I am a registered nurse and somatic therapy practitioner. I have worked in healthcare for 15 years in various roles, including perinatal public health nursing, trauma therapy, full-spectrum doula services, and teaching Narrative Medicine to doctors and writers. I hold a MS in Narrative Medicine, BS in Nursing, BA in Health Humanities, and have completed 2800 hours of somatics and trauma therapy training. I am currently completing a MS in Nursing to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have presented at conferences, facilitated workshops for a variety of organizations and universities, and published creative writing.
